i made a stencil of the 2006 lunar calendar and then painted it with white acrylic paint on two panels of plexiglass. i'm interested in building some kind of light box out of the two pieces and playing with the different overlapping shadows. for now, i've taped the two together and laid a black silhouette of a woman's back underneath. I like how when the two panels are joined, the center line reads similar to that of a spine. any thoughts on this idea?
